Zack’s Story:
Zack Hummer was a 21 year old who was killed in a single vehicle accident
on August 26th, 2011. Zack was an amazing young man who took pride in his
community. He could be found on most nice evenings at a basketball court in
Jay County playing basketball with any person willing to show up and play. He
always displayed good sportsmanship on and off the court. He was a mentor
tothe youth of the community, encouraging them to work on fundamental skills
and to work harder to improve. Zack was spirited young man who greeted
every person with an unforgettable smile. He displayed very honorable
characteristic such as respect, trustworthy, kindness, responsible, hard working
and integrity. He loved his family and his community. In Zack’s honor, his family
and friends have decided to continue to do positive things within the Jay
County community in hope that Zack’s spirit and his memory will live on.
Description:
Enjoy a walk/run through the scenic Dunkirk City Park located off of 400 S.  Your support will raise money for the park and the Zack Hummer Memorial Scholoarship.  The race is electronically timed.

Join the fun and support the Jay County Cancer Society by running or walking in this 5k.  All proceeds will go to breast cancer patients.

What:

Boomer Fall Soccer

Program for Boys & Girls Ages 3-14 

3 yrs of age as of September 1

When:

 Games will be played on Saturday mornings and afternoons starting in September  

Where:

  Jay County Recreation Complex    Located on Como Road and 450 S  

Cost:

$55.00 Non-Refundable Fee 

Registration includes Boomer Soccer shirt and practice ball.

Teams:

 Teams will be organized by JCC. Players will be placed on teams by special requests, M/F, and age. 

 

Practice:

Practices will be scheduled by coaches. Coaches will also pick where practices will be held. 

 

Fundraiser:

Ask JCC how I can reduce registration fees. 

 

Special Request: 

Siblings playing in the same age division will be placed on the same team.  All other requests are not guaranteed, and teams won’t be stacked or overloaded due to special 
requests. 

 

Pictures: 

Pictures will be taken within the first three weeks of games prior to the scheduled starting times. Pictures will be done only on scheduled days. No retakes unless noted by JCC
